Emergency Yogurt Bowl
When Snickers used to run those “You’re not you when you’re hungry” ads, they should have directed you here.
The almighty yogurt bowl is perfect for meeting you in the middle of kitchen overwhelm because it’s something you just throw together while stabilizing blood sugar and offering cycle supportive nutrients.
When I start to feel the dreaded doom of all the things I have to get done this is a beautiful and easy way to access the nourishment that will carry me through the tasks of the day.
To customize by menstrual phase:
Add these to the base recipe if it feels good. If it stresses you out let it go my love. All phases will benefit from the overall blood sugar regulation, nutrients, and newfound kitchen confidence of the base recipe.
Follicular: toasted pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, cashew butter, blueberries
Ovulatory: toasted sunflower seeds, almond butter, raspberries, strawberries
Luteal: sesame seeds, cinnamon, peanut butter, stewed apples
Menstrual: hemp seeds, Chinese 5 spice, walnut butter, stewed cherry or pear

Eyeball how much Greek yogurt you want
2 spoonfuls of your chosen nut butter
Buckwheat groats
Seeds
Berries

Toast buckwheat and seeds in a dry pan on the stove until they are browned.
Assemble the bowl together with the crunchies on top.
