1) Get clear on you.

Like post blood clarity.

Let’s wake it up.

To start incorporating cycle syncing into your life you need to know where you’re making moves from. Take a few days to journal and record what’s going on with your body and environment.

Make notes on how you feel and look. Write about your relationship to food, body, and stress. This isn’t about judgement, it’s about discovery.

As you write, ask yourself the question, what is true? It’s easy to get caught up in the stories we tell ourselves. Do your best to stay rooted in reality.

2) Educate yourself.

The best thing to remember here is to give it time. Most of us were never exposed to the topic before. You don’t have to know everything overnight. Part of the beauty is in the process of learning by experience and this will unfold naturally over time.

3) Give it a try.

Once you’ve allowed time for the preproduction of it all, we must take action.

Ask your body what it feels drawn to from your research in the last step. You might be more of a movement girly and cycle syncing your workouts feels like the right next step. My guess is that if you found me, you’re probably into food.

There are many ways to begin actively cycle syncing your food. You can swap cooking methods throughout the cycle, focus on cycling one type of ingredient like vegetables, or try seed cycling.

You can also head to the cycle syncing recipe library where I’ve done the mental work to design phase specific recipes that are as yummy as they are supportive to your body. Choose one to try and make a night of it as if the meal were an offering to your cherished body.

With this step, keep it simple. You don’t need to switch up your whole life overnight. Small consistent action will transform your relationship to food and your body in a way that is long lasting.

4) Digest your results.

Bring in the luteal phase processing.

This step is not for doing, but rather for feeling. A vital part of creating a new life.

You must let your body and psyche absorb the new way of being. They will have notes. It’s up to you to give them the space to tell you what’s working and what’s not.

If feeling is not something that comes naturally to you, the space thing is so important. You need a moment free from stimulants whether that be other people, foods, and/or your phone.

Unplug from the external world and sit with your own breath, coming home to your body. That could be in your room or maybe you take a retreat out in nature. Whatever’s accessible for you.

Then we repeat the cycle journaling where you’re at now, picking up new info, and experimenting with another aligned action. Detached from outcomes, playing with the cycle.
